BQLT 7th Annual Bike & Walking Tour

Join the Brooklyn Queens Land Trust for a guided walking and biking tour of 10 community gardens in Bushwick and Central Brooklyn! See what’s going on in your neighborhood gardens! Watch chickens and beehives up close! Hear the stories behind these green spaces and connect with your community!
Guided bike and walking tours begin at 2 pm at Concerned Citizens of Grove Street Community Garden: 72 Grove Street. Please arrive at 1:30 to check in, collect your BQLT swag, look around the garden, and enjoy the Grove Street block party!
Following the tours, join us for a reception, 5 – 7 pm at People’s Garden: 1237-1241 Broadway, Bushwick 11221

Thank you to the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, NYC Department of Youth and Community Development and the NYC Council for their continuous support of our organization. Thank you to Haiti Cultural Exchange for a beautiful continuous partnership to bring lovely Haitian culture through art, music and dance to our community gardens.
This event is free and all are welcome. Donations help BQLT continue to improve these gardens for the community we all share.

All donations of $10 or more receive a BQLT t-shirt!
**This event will take place light rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel. Registrants will be notified by 8:30 am the day of in the event of cancellation. Donations will be non-refundable, but registrants can claim their swag by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.**
