Monthly Gardener Gathering & Potluck – December

Event Overview

Please join us for our BQLT Monthly Gardener Gathering on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11am-1pm at the BQLT headquarters located in the YWCA building in the 1st Floor/Conference Room One (30 Third Avenue Room 842 Brooklyn, NY 11217). Light refreshments will be served, and we encourage you to bring a dish to share for a gardener potluck.

December is a time for giving and receiving — the month for mutual aid! We will be doing an initial review of how your garden can get resources from BQLT, as well as from other BQLT gardens. If your garden has any materials you want to pass on or materials you are looking for, this meeting will be a time to coordinate swapping with other gardens! Light refreshments will be served, and we encourage you to bring a dish to share for a gardener potluck.

If you are, or someone you know is, a gardener that feels confident in a field like composting, beekeeping, fruit tree TLC, cover crops, trellising, rodent and pest prevention, etc (the list can go on), and would like to lead a workshop, we encourage you to reach out to the office and let us know! We want our gardeners to share their knowledge, advice, and experience with other gardeners wherever they can, and this is a great opportunity to do so.
