Back To Eden Community Garden
HISTORY:
The Back to Eden Community Garden has an inspirational history. Former gardeners Ella Heron and her late husband Percy worked in this garden for 21 years or more. They were dedicated and devoted to serve, to improve the quality of life, and enhance the community of South Jamaica, Queens, especially this garden. The garden was formerly known as "The Garden of Eden" now renamed Back to Eden Community Garden in their honor.  Since reopening in summer of 2004, this beloved green space has been cultivated and shared due to dedicated members and volunteer participation with tender loving care.
