Thank You for Your Support During #Brooklyn Gives!

Our #BrooklynGives 2021 fundraising campaign was a success! Together we raised $16,220, which was 77% of a very ambitious $21K goal. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the BQLT volunteers, board, staff and supporters who participated! Thank you to everyone who participated by giving money, time, administrative skills, Instagram smarts, and email drafting. 

Three former board members and their families sponsored phenomenal matching grants totaling $6000. Special thanks to Demetrice & Dorothy Mills, Irene Van Slyke, and Meg Fellerath & Seth Goodwin.

We’ve had support from an unprecedented 124 different donors, many familiar faces and some new to the BQLT community. If you didn’t have a chance to donate during the campaign, it’s not too late to support our mission.

We will continue to share the special magic of what BQLT does as an organization as well as the beautiful community growing spaces.  We are grateful for every single contribution, and essential support we receive from volunteers, board members, and our gardeners and garden community.
